IN LOVE WITH PRADA! Guys, I don’t know what it is, but lately, my obsession with Prada Spring/Summer shoes is on another level. There are not enough hours in the day to browse through all of the fantastic shoes that are available for this season, and what’s more, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to narrow down the list. They have so many options for everyone! I have been trying to work on a curated capsule wardrobe for myself for the warm months approaching, and have chosen to include a few Prada sandals, sneakers and mules as part of my everyday go-to when getting dressed. Prada shoes combine what I look for daily in comfortable shoes and always balance an effortlessly chic look that makes me feel so beautiful and put together. Pair any of these shoes with blue jean denim and a white button-down t-shirt or, my favourite, a v-neck white t-shirt, or with shorts, a dress etc. They can be paired with anything and will be the star of your outfit! A solid, well-thought shoe collection for any season is always vital for me, as I can always throw anything on, and I know that my shoes will usually elevate my outfit, just like a coat or handbag. We will get into that at another time. So, I decided to share a few of my current Prada spring-summer favourites below with you; I hope you guys also find one you love and can add to your new season looks! Fashion trends are constantly evolving, changing, and yet sometimes we are transported back in time with trends that we have seen become extremely popular in eras like the '70s, '80s or '90s. Denim is one of those trends we have seen as a constant and even a staple in our wardrobes, from the infamous denim jacket to our everyday jeans.
This year, Denim has come back strong! We see an elevated version of Denim everywhere we go, which I am obsessed with. I mean, who does not like Denim?! One of my favourite things about Denim being one of the biggest trends this year is that we all own some denim pieces in our wardrobes already, which makes it so easy to go shopping in our closets and then perhaps add some additional details here and there. Voila, as easy as 123, we can go out in "denim style" and crush this year's trend and look as fashionable as the runways!
Because I love Denim so much, I thought I would share some of my favourite denim trends that defy time and fashion year after year.
1. Wide-leg denim jeans
Wide-leg denim, who does not like these? A few years ago, I was not sure I was into these. Yet, over the years, I have tried to incorporate more relaxed, comfortable Denim into my wardrobe, and these hit the mark completely! I love the comfort of a wide leg, and yet depending on how you style these, they can be very casual or elevated chic and maintain their elegance and comfort at the same time. Dress them in a navy blue blazer, heels, a simple white T-shirt, and some fantastic trainers. Either way, these are a must in my closet always.
2. Flared denim jeans
Flared denim jeans are at the top of my list! I have always been a fan of how they fit; in my opinion, they flatter any boy type and make me feel amazing every time I wear them. Flared gives me a relaxed retro vibe that depending on how we choose to style, can evolve into a retro-modern look that will turn heads! I own most colours in flares and see myself continuing the flare craze sometime soon!
3. Vintage Denim
Vintage style denim, from distressed, faded, and ripped, has been trending for a while and is here to stay for me. I tend to go for the mom jeans in vintage Denim and love wearing these on the weekends for a more chilled vibe!
4. Patchwork denim
I love anything patchwork, from throws to bedding and everything else. So, it's impossible for me not to love denim patchwork. The art and creativity of multiple pieces of Denim sewn together have been gaining popularity as a sustainable option for Denim, creating a unique, one-of-a-kind look.
5. Colored Denim
Colored Denim has been a popular trend in recent years. A staple in my closet is always blue, black and white Denim, but I have loved the pastels since they have come out! I am here for anything pastel in Denim, especially for the spring and summer months. They make me happy! I love anything from pastel shades of pink to greens, blues and yellows. Let's not forget about bold denim colours like red and electric blue! Such an easy way to add a pop of colour to our daily denim outfits, which radiate happiness!
6. Denim dresses
Denim dresses have been a popular choice for a versatile and easy way to wear an everyday outfit, from mini denim dresses to more flowy maxi dresses—another must-have, especially for spring and summer 2023.
7. Denim corsets and tube tops
If I had to choose, this might be my top favourite denim trend for spring and summer 2023. I love corsets and tube tops, but there is something special about denim corsets. It makes me feel so sexy and regal simultaneously, with a nod to Victorian times. You can elevate it with a long-sleeved white shirt underneath or keep it simple and fun. Either way, I am excited to style this in the upcoming months!
8. Denim maxi skirts
We have all seen and probably owned denim mini skirts and shorts over the years, and yet when the maxi denim skirt trend came out, I was instantly a huge fan! Along with the denim corset and tube top, it's right up there as one of my favourite denim trends, and I love that It is still going strong this year!
As the seasons change and winter fades away, I eagerly start thinking about updating my wardrobe with the latest spring 2023 trends. My surroundings, especially nature, inspire me. As the trees bloom and change, I start thinking of this year's colours and what new shades I would like to incorporate into my daily wardrobe.
So, what new and exciting colours will become a part of our looks this spring? This upcoming season is all about bright, bold colours. We are also seeing lots of standout playful prints and, of course, statement pieces that are sure to make you stand out from the rest.
If you love fashion and have been plugged into the latest trends, then you have noticed that there are lots of oversized and exaggerated silhouettes this upcoming season. From cargo pants to one of my all-time favourites, wide-leg trousers, amplified sleeves, blazers, handbags and everything else in between. The bigger, the better! Such a fun, playful season to be transitioning into.
Spring colours? What are we seeing, and what should we incorporate into our wardrobe now?! As mentioned, bold is in, so go bold or go home! And this includes eye-catching pops of colour. A few of the colours dominating the runway, from clothing to handbags, are Fushia, Tangerine, Red, Electric Blue and many more. So if you are obsessed with colour, there is no better time than now to go crazy.
I have always believed that our body is a blank canvas. We can re-create a canvas daily through our style, colours, accessories, and so much more. Do not be afraid to experiment with all of these colours this season and express your true inner fashionista by mixing and matching colours, silhouettes, and prints! Go crazy on your canvas!
Have we already used the word 'statement" today? I believe we have! And yet, here we go again! As if bold colours, prints, and silhouettes are not enough. Remember to add some big accessories to your look this spring season! Small and dainty are always classic and chic, yet this season, let's have some fun with oversized hoops and colourful tassels; yes, these are back again! If you are anything like me, you have some of these big hoops or tasselled earing stashed away in the bottom of your jewellery box, so now is the time to run and dust those off and make them a part of your spring 2023 look!
And Finally, be sure to finalize your spring look with some bold block heels or strappy sandals. In case you have not caught on yet, a statement look is definitely the way forward this spring 2023!

Every year I am anxiously waiting to discover the new Baguette collection. What could it be this year? And which Baguette are we going to add to our wishlist? In this blog, I will share my top favourite 2023 Baguettes and which are on my wishlist. Before getting into some fun “eye” shopping, let's talk about its history.
The infamous Baguette. The bag of all bags, the “it” collector's item for any fashionista since its debut in 1997. This became a fashion statement throughout the 90s and has evolved into a constant staple in the luxury world, year after year reinventing its style and always staying true to its original beauty and shape.

Baguette, is such an interesting name for a bag. Have you ever wondered how it got its name? Believe it or not, its inspiration was a French Baguette. Yes, an actual French baguette! Because of its small size, it can be tucked under the arm, just like a French Baguette.
The Baguette was and has always been a special piece. Designed to be carried as a statement accessory rather than just a practical handbag. Since its inception, it has been a success and has quickly gained a cult following. It is often seen on the arms of a celebrity or featured in popular TV shows such as Sex and the City.
